Medical Skin Care

A medical lens on the skin — for the concerns that don’t belong on an aesthetic menu.

Why This Exists

A lot of skin concerns sit in a quiet middle ground — not quite a cosmetic problem, not yet an emergency, but real enough to be on your mind. Patients often don’t know who to ask.

That’s the gap this side of the practice exists to fill. We evaluate skin concerns properly, tell you what’s going on, and either treat it ourselves or guide you to the right next step.

Concerns We Commonly See

In Person, Or By Video

Many medical skin concerns can be evaluated by secure video visit — particularly first appointments and follow-ups. Others need to be seen in person. We’ll guide you to whichever is appropriate, and we’ll say so honestly.

What To Expect

Common Questions

Can I be seen by video, or do I need to come in?

It depends on the concern. Many skin conditions, acne, rosacea, pigmentation, routine reviews,  can be assessed very well by secure video visit, especially when you send photos in advance. Some things genuinely need to be seen in person: moles that require hands-on assessment, anything that may need a biopsy, and conditions where examination matters more than conversation. We’ll tell you which applies to your situation before you book.

Yes. Describe your concern in your own words when you book, that’s enough. You don’t need a diagnosis to start the conversation. Our job is to work out what’s going on and give you a plan, not the other way around.

We’ll tell you, and we’ll guide the referral. Not every concern is something we treat in-house, and we won’t pretend otherwise. If you need a higher level of care or a different specialist, we’ll make that clear and help you get there.

Where appropriate, yes, for conditions like acne, rosacea, pigmentation and other common skin presentations, prescription treatment is often part of the plan. We discuss this during your consultation and explain what’s being recommended and why before prescribing anything.

Often, yes. Many patients combine a skin concern visit with an aesthetic consultation in the same appointment. The two are more connected than most practices treat them, healthy skin is the foundation of any aesthetic result.
